01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Keeping rolls together, slice horizontally with a serrated bread knife to separate into a top and bottom half.
03 - Place the bottom half of rolls on prepared baking sheet. Arrange sliced cheddar cheese evenly over rolls. Add ham or turkey if using.
04 - Cover fillings with the top half of the rolls.
05 - If desired, mix melted butter with mustard, honey, and garlic powder. Brush the tops of the rolls thoroughly using a pastry brush.
06 - Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
07 - Allow pan to cool for 2 minutes, then cut into 12 individual mini sandwiches. Serve while warm.
